From clean energy dialogues to student-led sustainability clubs, EU Jeel Connectors in Egypt are turning ideas into action. Their dynamic initiatives are building bridges between youth, institutions, and global partners—all while advancing the EU-Egypt partnership and the Sustainable Development Goals.

Eslam Ezzat and Yara Hesham, EU Jeel Connectors from Egypt, co-organised a vibrant EU-Egypt Energy Bridge Coffee Talk at the EU Delegation to Egypt. The event brought together students, young professionals, and energy experts from USAID, GIZ, and Ghabbour Group. The conversation focused on renewable energy, the evolving EU-Egypt cooperation, and the crucial role of youth in shaping the sector’s future. It was more than just a talk—it served as a launchpad for fresh ideas and cross-sector collaboration.

Meanwhile, at the Nile Egyptian International School – El Obour Branch, EU Jeel Connector Moustafa Abdallah led the inauguration of Egypt’s first Wavemakers Student Club. This pioneering initiative is designed to inspire and mobilise young people around sustainability and climate action. Through hands-on workshops, training sessions, and student-led projects, the club fosters youth engagement with the SDGs, nurturing a new generation of eco-conscious leaders.
