The Neighbourhood, Development and International Cooperation Instrument (NDICI-Global Europe Instrument), established via Regulation (EU)2021/9474, is the main financial tool for EU’s international cooperation aiming at contributing to eradicating poverty and promoting sustainable development, prosperity, peace and stability. The overall global allocation for the NDICI-Global Europe for the period 2021-2027 is of EUR 79,462 million.
The global objective of this call for proposals is to contribute to the upholding of democratic principles, the promotion and protection of human rights, and the strengthening of CSOs as independent actors of good governance and development.
LOT 1 – Thematic Programme for Civil Society Organisations
The specific objective for LOT 1 is to strengthen local CSOs to safeguard the shrinking civic space, address increasing restrictions, and enhance their meaningful participation in policy-making and public accountability.
LOT 2 – Thematic Programme on Human Rights and Democracy
The specific objective for Lot 2 is to protect human rights in Palestine by preventing and documenting violations, promoting accountability, and supporting vulnerable groups including children, women, and persons with disabilities.
