The EU-funded MAIA-TAQA project, in alignment with its objectives of identifying the capacity of the SMEs to identify their innovation needs within the MED countries, and reducing technical, business and commercial barriers, will provide 9 SMEs with innovation vouchers of up to 20.000 EUR.
9 SMEs will be selected (3 per country from Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon) to receive Innovation Vouchers, that will support the purchase of innovation services by local SMEs in each country, to introduce innovation in the field of resource efficiency. The selected SME won’t receive direct money, but an in-kind contribution from the MAIA-TAQA project in the form of personalized innovation and knowledge services.

Interested SMEs must provide a detailed explanation of their innovation requirements and the services they need. Once the call is closed, this information will be used to develop the formulation of completed research challenges to commissions knowledge providers addressing the demands of the SMEs selected via specific tenders launched by the MAIA-TAQA local partners and designed in collaboration with the SMEs selected.
