Mark your calendars for an exclusive live stream on 24 October at 9:00 A.M , taking place in Brussels, in a high-level event organized by the European Commission (DG NEAR) about Climate Action in the Mediterranean in partnership with the Clima-Med project.
Our session will come live featuring a distinguished panel of EU Directors from DG NEAR and DG CLIMA, National high-level representatives from Southern Neighbourhood countries, and experts from a range of organizations.
Engaging discussions with the UfM by sharing their best practices, AFD Climate and Nature Division, through offering their valuable perspective, and key actors from International Financial Institutions, and funding programs, will also be involved in paving the road for investment guidance, identifying and mitigating climate-related risks and discussing climate finance at the local level, and unraveling the challenges and opportunities within the south Mediterranean region.
In addition, experienced Mayors, young activists, scientific experts, and energy efficiency professionals will all be actively engaged, sharing their successful stories, challenges, and opportunities to battle climate change.
