It is carried out by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), the British Council (BC), and the Foundation for the Internationalisation of Public Administrations (FIAP), in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports (MJS) and the Ministry of Cultural Affairs (MAC).
The overall objective of the assignment is to ensure the quality of technical interventions under Axis 1 of the Maghroum’IN project – “Public Services – Result 1: The cultural and sports service offer, both public and non-public, is more attractive and inclusive for young people in vulnerable situations” – by providing technical expertise, quality control, and effective collaboration with external service providers, partners, and the project team.
The mission mainly involves supporting technical assistance activities and the peer exchange programme, as well as offering technical support for initiatives aimed at improving cultural and sports services, according to the project’s needs.
The consultant’s main responsibility will be to technically supervise the various technical assistance interventions, ensuring they align with the identified needs and meet quality standards. Additionally, the consultant will provide ad hoc support to local and national initiatives aimed at enhancing cultural and sports services. The consultant will also contribute to the design of specific activities and other technical inputs to improve the quality and efficiency of ongoing actions (including cross-cutting areas such as gender mainstreaming, knowledge management, etc.).
