We are pleased to announce that the UB’s Support Programme for Refugees and People from Conflict Zones has published the call for the transition course to the university. You can find the call details and application form here: UB Transition Course Scholarships.

What is this call for?
The scholarship covers the 2024-2025 academic year and includes tuition for the transition course (Spanish and Catalan language and Human Rights course), full board accommodation (in shared rooms), and holistic support. It can be extended if the student passes the transition course and is admitted to a UB master’s or bachelor’s degree program (second cycle) for the 2025-2026 academic year, following the renewal procedure. For two-year master’s programs and the last year of bachelor’s degrees, the scholarship may be extended to 2026-2027 upon request and subject to academic performance and administrative compliance.

Who can apply?
This scholarship is for university students from non-EU countries affected by armed conflict and violence, in a vulnerable situation regarding human, economic, and social rights. Priority will be given to Palestinian candidates residing in the occupied Palestinian territories, refugees under UNRWA protection, or those unable to return to these territories due to previous scholarships.
