Thirdly, the report assesses current EU initiatives and policies addressing climate change and gender equality in the region, highlighting successes and identifying areas for improvement. Finally, it concludes with actionable recommendations aimed at strengthening EU support for gender equality within the framework of climate change adaptation and mitigation strategies in
