Med Dialogue has completed an exploratory study on the Covid-19 repercussions on the civic space. The research, which focused in particular on the situation in Tunisia and Lebanon and was conducted between January and June 2022, examined how the measures adopted by state and non-state actors since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic in the first quarter of 2020 have affected different types of civil society actors.

The research methodology was inspired by a civil society space assessment approach developed by European Partnership for Democracy, with the support of elbarlament: the Democratic Institutions for a Conducive Environment for Civil Society (DICE).
