This publication is the result of collective contributions and collaboration provided by the selected members of the ETF Skills Lab Network of Experts. It brings together 6 independent articles written by research teams from various countries in response to the upon the ETF call for research papers implemented during 2022-2024. Each of the six articles offers fresh evidence on skills demand, supply, and mismatches across various sectors and occupations within the selected countries neighbouring to the EU. The six articles are further complemented by an introductory (editorial) article in order to connect them through presenting a quick review of literature on how the digital and green transitions affect employment and skills demand in the labour markets.
