“Basic hygiene practices for workers” was created with the intent of taking stock of the state of the pandemic and disseminating basic knowledge about the virus among workers in the water sector.
It was developed by MEDISS partners – experts from ENAS – Ente Acque della Sardegna(Sardinian Water Board), Palestinian Wastewater Engineers Group (Lead partner), Aqaba Water Company and Ira Médenine – who set up a working group last June to assess the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic has had in some Mediterranean countries in the first six months of 2020.
EU-funded MEDISS project addresses the issue of improving the quality of saline groundwater present in the Mediterranean area opening alternative irrigation for higher quality and more diversified cultivations.
