Tunisia Work-based learning in Algeria – an assessment per EU quality standards
The present study, entitled “Work-Based Learning in Algeria”, was commissioned and implemented by the European Training Foundation (ETF) as part of its ongoing support to vocational education and training reform in partner countries. The research was carried out between October 2024 and April 2025 by Naouel Abdellatif Mami, under the overall coordination of Floriana Folisi (ETF). The final report was prepared by Naouel Abdellatif Mami, with technical contributions and continuous methodological support from Floriana Folisi and Lisa Rustico, both representing the ETF. The ETF would like to acknowledge the invaluable cooperation of all stakeholders who contributed to the successful completion of this study. Their involvement, whether through data provision, expert consultation, or the facilitation of institutional contacts, greatly enhanced the quality and depth of the findings. Particular thanks are extended to the Ministry of Vocational Training and Education (MFEP), the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security, and the General Confederation of Algerian Enterprises for their engagement and support throughout the research process.
