EU Ambassador to Egypt, H.E. Angelina Eichhorst, met with H.E. Dr. Osama Al Azhary, Minister of Endowments, for an open and forward-looking exchange on areas of mutual interest. The meeting underscored the potential of inclusive dialogue and community engagement — including the role of religious institutions — in fostering hope, resilience, and social cohesion, particularly in times of complexity and uncertainty.
Discussions highlighted the Ministry’s wide-ranging work: from promoting tolerance and countering extremist narratives, to managing assets, advancing public awareness, supporting development and leading charitable initiatives. Both sides explored opportunities for cooperation in promoting peaceful coexistence, encouraging inclusive dialogue, and supporting efforts that contribute to peaceful inclusive and cohesive communities.
