Three calls for proposals have been launched to support youth in Algeria within the framework of the EU-funded Youth Employment Support Programme (PAJE).
PAJE’s objective is to support the Algerian government as it undertakes actions to reform its national youth policy. The programme seeks to fund youth projects in partnership with institutions in the pilot provinces of Annaba, Béchar, Khencela and Oran.
Handicap International, the International Labour Organization and the Research and Implementation Group for Rural Development (GRDR) have signed a contract with Algeria’s Ministry of Employment and Social Security to sub-grant associations through calls for proposals with more flexible procedures.
