TunisiaCRE@CTIVE in Jordan: creating synergies in the textile sector at FOSTEX final conference
In cooperation with Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) and regional partners, FOSTEX final conference was held in Amman, Jordan. FOSTEX is an EU-funded project under the European Commission’s Erasmus+ Programme, aiming to fill the gap in the area of specialised services for the textile sector, establishing four textile innovation hubs in Jordan and Morocco to generate an ecosystem of advanced textile materials.
CRE@CTIVE’s Jordanian partner, Higher Council for Science and Technology (HCST), spoke at the conference to highlight the project’s objectives. The conference provided an excellent opportunity to build synergies and collaborate with other EU-funded projects, while also highlighting the work of the CRE@CTIVE project and how it will aid in the creation of tools, such as the WAVE platform, FI@CTIVE tool, and MASDE tool to support the area’s traditional textile, leather, and footwear sectors!
