Tunisia Egypt: The EU honours pioneer women in the field of water

On the occasion on World Water Day, the European Union Ambassador in Egypt Ivan Surkoš and Egyptian Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Ati celebrated the occasion across the Nile River Banks with a number of European and African Ambassadors in Afla Garden in El Kanater El Khairia. Ambassador Surkoš and Minister Abdel-Ati honoured pioneer women in the field of water, who were elected by Water User Associations, or selected at leadership roles within the water management during the event.
