The project managers for U-SOLVE, MYSEA, and EMPHASIS, along with the project manager for the MED-QUAD project, organised a shared event for four European Union-funded projects implemented in Jordan through the ENI CBC MED Programme.

The Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), project partner of the EMPHASIS project, reported that more than twenty-eight participants from various Jordanian organisations, including universities, government institutions, and commercial university enterprises attended the event, during which, the ENI CBC Med programme’s strategic framework was emphasized, focusing on the priority for addressing the Mediterranean region’s socioeconomic and environmental concerns, including young unemployment and social injustice.

Throughout the session, partners recognised common areas and aims among the projects and expressed a desire to collaborate. The partners anticipate significant project synergy to establish a paradigm of urban development based on collaboration and interaction with the four core innovation actors.
