EU Ambassador to Israel, Emanuele Giaufret, met with the Mayor of Arad, Nisan Ben Hemo, Deputy Mayor Aleksei Sapozhnikov and Arad residents, including high school students from Ort Arad school, new immigrants, youth, and various members of the business community to learn about their experiences and discuss EU-Israel relations. Arad aims to have wholly renewable energy in 10 years time.
