After the international Bootcamp at the camp, which brought together 55 entrepreneurs from Tunisia, Morocco and Senegal at the end of April, the first DiafrikInvest group coaching session took place last month at the Maison du Maroc, within the Cité internationale universitaire de Paris, with the aim of helping them refine their fundraising strategy with investors.
This first “Investment Academy” of the DiafrikInvest acceleration programme brought together about thirty entrepreneurs, selected on the basis of their ability to generate a positive local impact, to benefit from the expertise of Effectus, a company specialised in strategy and investment consulting.
The entrepreneurs involved, from the Moroccan, Tunisian and Senegalese diasporas, received operational advice to understand the expectations and selection criteria of an investor, and to understand the chain and the different financing tools.
Funded by the EU, DiafrikInvest aims to accelerate and support the mobilisation of high potentials, entrepreneurs and investors from the diaspora to boost business relations between Europe, Morocco, Senegal and Tunisia and thus contribute to economic development.
