A training on building capacities of study and analysis of the social and solidarity-based economy sector was held last week in Algeria, in the framework of the EU-funded Support Programme Youth Employment (PAJE). Twenty central actors from ministries and agencies partners of the programme. The training sought to reach an efficient steering of the strategies aiming at developing social and solidarity-based economy in Algeria.

PAJE programme is the result of a co-financing convention signed between Algeria and the European Union in December 2012 for a budget of €26 million (€23.5 million for the European part and €2.5 million for the Algerian part). Its main objective is to support the action and reforms of the Algerian government in terms of national policies for youth.
