TunisiaEU-Tunisia dialogue on Libya stabilisation

“We are not only concerned by the security challenge but also by the need to have stability in Libya so that it can be a partner for the EU and Tunisia”, stressed EU High Representative, Federica Mogherini, at the EU-Tunisia Association Council held in Luxembourg on Monday 18 April 2016.
Mogherini also commended the outcomes of the regional meeting hosted by Tunisia on 22 March 2016. “We support together the current political process, and, above all, we are working together to support the capacity of the unity government to fully assume its duties”, highlighted Mogherini as she personally thanked Tunisia “for the role it played throughout the process (and) for standing with us in supporting Mr Al-Serraj’s national unity government”.
