Each one of the 8 associations that are part of the EU-funded CSO WINS project will carry out policy dialogue actions during the first semester of 2019 as part of their advocacy campaigns. These actions aim primarily to promote the women’s rights campaigns conducted in 2017/2018, and to follow up on the situation’s progress jointly with public authorities.

The policy dialogues take place in 7 countries: Morocco, Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Libya, Palestine, Lebanon.

The CSO WINS project targets local associations in order to strengthen their ability to mobilise public opinion with the aim of asserting women’s rights and encourage them to monitor women-related policies in the political, professional and social sectors at a local, national and Euro-Mediterranean level. It is funded by the Neighbourhood Civil Society Facility in the framework of the European Neighbourhood Instrument, and implemented by the European Institute of the Mediterranean through the Euro-Mediterranean Women’s Foundation.
