TunisiaEUPOL COPPS organises a visit of Palestinian Police Officers to Portugal
This week, the Chief of the Palestinian Civil Police led a team of senior Palestinian Police Officers, who together with the Head of EUPOL COPPS headed to Portugal. In Lisbon, Major General Hazem Attallah together with the Head of Mission, Kauko Aaltomaa was welcomed by the National Director of the Portuguese Police, Luis Farinha.
The three-day visit was organised by EUPOL COPPS and aimed to familiarise the participants with the decision making process, at the strategic level, used in the Portuguese Police. During the visit, the delegation was also briefed on the priorities of the Portuguese Police relating to internal development, roles and responsibilities and management skills. In addition, the parties exchanged views on best police practices and future cooperation.
