EU’s DiafrikInvest supports diaspora going into business in Morocco and Tunisia

DiafrikInvest launches a new call for projects, open until 30 April 2018 and aimed at diaspora entrepreneurs of Moroccan, Senegalese and Tunisian origin.

50 entrepreneurs will be selected and supported to launch their business, from Europe to Morocco, Senegal or Tunisia.

DiafrikInvest acts as an accelerator to strengthen the potential of diaspora and support their business creation projects, offering specific opportunities to the innovative and daring entrepreneurs going into business. Through this call, 50 entrepreneurs will be selected by 30 April 2018 and will benefit from a tailor-made range of services, adapted to their needs, supported by experts connected to reality on the ground and to the specificities of diaspora entrepreneurs. The selected projects will be followed-up at each stage, from Europe to the creation in the South.

Coaching, networking, participation to targeted business events, financing contacts, etc. These projects will also benefit from an increased visibility, at national and international level. Finally, the top 20 will benefit from additional services such as pitching training, shooting of a promotional video and invitation to two Investment Academies.

DiafrikInvest is 90% funded by the European Union and coordinated by ANIMA Investment Network in partnership with ACIM (France), CONECT (Tunisia), Start-up Maroc (Morocco) and CJD (Senegal). This project aims to accelerate and support the mobilisation of highly-qualified talents, entrepreneurs and investors from the diaspora in order to boost business relations between Europe, Morocco, Senegal and Tunisia.
