TunisiaFirst Business Country Desk national presentation to be held in Egypt
In order to promote the Business Country Desk platform among its end users in Egypt (companies, SMEs, startups, etc.) , BUSINESSMED and the Federation of the Egyptian Industries are jointly hosting the Business Country Desk (BCD) country presentations’ program made up of a set of thematic training sessions followed by B2B events at the national and the regional levels.
The 1st BCD Presentation’s webinar dedicated to the Egyptian business community, scheduled on 1 June 2021 will focus on the relevance and the modalities of joining the BCD Platform.
The Business Country Desk, an essential instrument of the EU-funded EBSOMED project, is a dynamic platform whose ultimate goal is to boost regional economic development mainly in 10 southern Mediterranean countries, as well as to initiate and sustain business networking opportunities between the economic operators through the Euro-Mediterranean region. The first version of the BCD platform was presented on 12 January 2021.
Co-financed by the European Commission, EBSOMED is a 4-year project which was officially launched in June 2018 in Tunis. The project aims at boosting the Mediterranean business ecosystem and promoting inclusive economic growth and job creation, by enhancing the private sector environment and namely the Business Support Organisations in the Southern Neighbourhood countries.
