On 7 September, the European Union and the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation launched the Cairo Water Week 2025. Together with ministries, embassies, international partners, financial institutions, scientists, experts, youth representatives it was agreed to align priorities and shape together the road to Cairo Water Week 2025, to be held 12–16 October. Participants discussed innovative solutions for climate resilience and water sustainability
