As part of the development of the business country desk (BCD), a delegation of the EBSOMED project visited the International Trade Centre (ITC-Euromed Trade and Investment Facilitation Mechanism) at Geneva to meet representatives from the market development division for a preliminary meeting on the implementation of the axes of cooperation and synergy between the two platforms.

BCD is a new platform that aims to promote and support synergies and opportunities for partnership and B2B, as well as to stimulate investment and exchanges between actors in the euro-Mediterranean business ecosystem.

EBSOMED is a 4-year project, co-financed by the EU and coordinated by BUSINESSMED. It aims at boosting the Mediterranean Business Ecosystem, and promoting Inclusive Economic Growth and Job Creation, by enhancing the Private Sector Environment and namely the Business Support Organisations (BSO) in the Southern Neighbourhood Countries.
