The EU was honoured to join His Majesty King Abdullah II الديوان الملكي الهاشمي for the inauguration of a new Strategic Warehouse, a part of our common efforts to strengthen medical distribution and cold chain in #Jordan.
This over 40 M EUR project implemented by World Health Organization Jordan is funded through the EU response to the Syria refugee crisis. Public health systems are common goods, irrespective of nationality.
The EU has an active portfolio of more than 90 M EUR to support Jordan in its efforts to achieve Universal Health Coverage for all. The bulk of the financial resources behind this portfolio come from the EU response to the Syria refugee crisis.
