Twelve young people aged between 18 and 29 from France, Lebanon, Jordan and Tunisia who belong to the category of NEETs, i.e. young people who are neither in employment, nor in school, nor in training. Their profiles are varied and their motivations diverse, but one thing unites them: they believe in the virtues of volunteering, exchange, solidarity and sharing. So they put their intelligence, talent, enthusiasm and energy to work for a local project in Hammamet on a voluntary basis for 15 days.
Gathered in a training workshop from February 22 to March 8, 2023 at the House of the Environment in Hammamet and supervised by the experts and facilitators of the Association d’Education Relative à l’Environment (AERE), a partner of RESMYLE, this group is working on the “Creation of a cultural and tourist circuit in the Medina of Hammamet”.
The general objective of the workshop is to contribute to the promotion of cultural tourism in the city of Hammamet thanks to a better knowledge of the tangible and intangible heritage of the Medina of Hammamet, to the sensitization and mobilization of the local actors around the stakes of heritage tourism on the territory and finally to the proposal of concrete tools for the tourist development of the heritage of the Medina.
