Six Youth Organizations in Lebanon to Support YOUTHMED Implementation

The Planning and Development Agency (PDA), Lead Partner of the EU-funded YOUTHMED – Empowering Youth for an Inclusive Mediterranean project, is looking to contract Six youth organizations in Lebanon, three by the Planning and Development Agency (PDA) and three by the National League for Culture and Development (NLCD) to support the implementation of local project activities.

YOUTHMED addresses shared challenges facing marginalized youth by equipping them with digital and critical thinking skills, while promoting civic engagement and social inclusion. Through transnational cooperation and inclusive services, the project empowers young people to drive positive change across the Mediterranean.

Responsibilities of Selected Youth Organizations

  • Deliver local training on civic participation
  • Organize awareness events on gender equality
  • Support vulnerable youth
  • Mobilize youth in mentoring and co-designed actions
  • Facilitate participation in cross-border exchanges
  • Engage community leaders in public events

Interested youth organizations are invited to submit their application documents by 15 August 2025.

With a total budget of €1,110,000, the YOUTHMED project is co-financed by the European Union, which is contributing €987,900 (89%).
