The joint committee on the Morocco-EU sustainable fisheries partnership agreement held a meeting last week to review the agreement’s results.
Both parties took stock of the activity and the use of fishing opportunities following the agreement’s first year of implementation. They have also reviewed the progress of the projects implemented in the framework of EU support to the development and implementation of the Moroccan development strategy of the fisheries sector, especially concerning the promotion of fields such as aquaculture, small-scale fishing and fisheries research.
They welcomed the quality of the follow-up work carried out despite the difficult context marked by the pandemic.
