After a first literary discussion, on Saturday 15 February, on the occasion of the 15th Euro-Algerian Writers’ Meeting, we continued our exploration of the world of books on Sunday with a round table on the publishing and book industries in Algeria and Europe, which brought together writers, publishers and cultural actors. At the heart of the exchanges: the specificities of publishing markets on both sides of the Mediterranean and the opportunities for collaboration in this area. European authors Irina Papancheva (Bulgaria) and Franco la Cecla (Italy) shared their vision of the link between author and publisher, as well as their first experiences with the publishing world.
