On 22 February from 11 am to 1 pm (CET), the ENI CBC Med Programme is organising a webinar to mark the United Nations’ World Day of Social Justice. With this event, the programme is willing to present active tools that help advance social justice and promote decent work opportunities through pilot projects in the fields of skills development, professional training, development of social services, etc.
Experts from both sides of the Mediterranean will share data, good practices and new ideas for employment promotion as a pillar of social justice. In addition, the webinar will offer an outlook on the EU strategic programming related to job creation and social inclusion, notably in the framework the 2021-2027 Interreg NEXTMED Programme presently under preparation.
This webinar is open to any person interested in knowing more about what can be done to provide better employment opportunities and increase social justice in this Mediterranean area.

ENI CBC Med is the largest Cross-Border Cooperation (CBC) initiative implemented by the EU under the European Neighbourhood Instrument (ENI). The Programme brings together the coastal territories of 14 EU and partner countries in view of fostering fair, equitable and sustainable development on both sides of the EU’s external borders. Through calls for proposals, ENI CBC Med finances cooperation projects for a more competitive, innovative, inclusive and sustainable Mediterranean area. Under the 2014-2020 period, the European Union has invested more than €1 billion to support 16 ENI CBC programmes between EU Member States and neighbouring countries sharing a land border, a sea crossing or a sea basin, from the Arctic to the Southern Mediterranean.
