Are you a young graduate interested in international relations?
Are you curious to learn more about the work within a diplomatic mission and to understand how a Delegation represents the interests and values of the European Union in Algeria?
The Delegation offers an internship of up to 6 months within the Political, Press and Information (PPI) Section at the EU Delegation to Algeria, starting in October 2025.
The PPI Section (Political, Press and Information) of the EU Delegation to Algeria works closely with Algerian and international partners to promote and strengthen political, economic, trade and cultural relations between the European Union and Algeria, in line with the Association Agreement signed in 2002. The “Press & Information” team plays a key role: it responds to media requests, monitors local and international media, updates the website, manages the EU Delegation’s social media channels, and designs targeted communication campaigns.
The overall purpose of the internship is to contribute to the implementation of the EU Delegation’s communication strategy in Algeria, particularly on social media, in order to enhance the visibility of its activities and promote its cultural events to a young audience.
Main tasks:
Assist in the preparation of audio-visual communication products (videos, audio, images, stories, articles, etc.);
Contribute to the design of communication campaigns, as needed;
Support the management of the EU Delegation’s social media, as needed;
Explore social media trends and propose innovative communication ideas.
