I am Islam Al-Atrash, and I work as a freelance journalist, with my work published in prestigious media outlets such as Reuters, Al Jazeera, CNN, and Deutsche Welle. I lead the Libya Foundation for Culture and Arts, focusing on engaging youth in decision-making to promote cultural and artistic participation in Libya.
Recently, I have been addressing Libya’s environmental challenges, including rising temperatures, drought, oil pollution, and biodiversity loss through my journalistic work. Through my leadership and communication skills, I aim to empower communities, promote personal growth, and address gender equality issues, with a focus on raising environmental awareness and promoting sustainability among youth. My goal is to inspire and connect with young leaders to achieve positive change in society.
