I am Mohamed Rafat, a passionate Egyptian medical student and dedicated youth advocate with a focus on sustainable development in climate, health, and education. From a young age, I have been committed to community engagement, starting by volunteering with local charities and training over 100 young volunteers in leadership and community service.
As a member of UNICEF’s Generation Unlimited (GenU) Global Young People’s Action Team (YPAT), I help empower 1.8 million young people worldwide. In 2023, I led the communications teams for the Local Conference of Youth (LCOY) Egypt and the Regional Conference of Youth (RCOY) MENA, promoting advocacy and amplifying youth voices on climate change. I believe in the transformative power of youth and am dedicated to fostering their potential for meaningful change.
