TunisiaI am Omar, a PhD candidate in Water Management at TU Delft since 2023, with master’s degrees in Sustainable Engineering Design & Construction and Water Engineering. I have academic experience as a research assistant at the British University in Egypt’s Center for Sustainability & Future Studies and professional experience as a consultant in Asset Management at Sweco Nederland.
My interests include urban drainage, flood risk management, sustainability, GIS, remote sensing, and project management.
I have published numerous research and conference papers on these topics. I am also a founding member of the Arab Organisation for Human Rights in North Europe, focused on integrating newcomers and local communities.
