This year’s 16 days of activism against violence against women and girls campaign was officially closed on Avenue Habib Bourguiba in Tunis. The event featured tents where agents raised awareness, listened to grievances and gave guidance, as well as an exhibition of products made by women survivors of violence.
Attended by the European Union ambassador and ambassadors from EU member states, the event illustrated the spirit of Team Europe in its common fight against gender-based violence. Organised by the ONFP, in partnership with the DVVI and supported by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry for the Family, Women, Children and the Elderly, this event, supported by the SILA programme funded by the European Union and implemented by AECID and ENABEL, highlighted the importance of unity and collective action in building a violence-free society. Together, let’s continue to break the silence and work towards a safer and fairer future for all.
