The Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Olivér Várhelyi met, in Brussels on 23 November 2021, with Vice-President of the Presidential Council of the State of Libya Mousa Al Koni.
“We discussed the prospects for relations between the EU and Libya and the continued support by the EU, as well as issues of mutual interest such as migration and youth support,” Commissioner Várhelyi said after the meeting.
Vice President Al Koni is currently in Brussels to meet with senior officials of the European Union. Discussions focus on implementing the outcomes of the Paris Conference in line with the Berlin Process.
