JREDS will also conduct a specialized training program for a number of local community members to develop their tourism and archaeological skills, in addition to classes of English language, communication, photography, marketing and social media, sustainable tourism and hospitality.
Moreover, JREDS is organising a social media awareness campaign to promote the beauty of Aqaba through its online Ramadan competition which will take place from 13 April 2021 to 13 May 2021. The competition targets students from all around the world, either from schools or universities, with the objective to increase knowledge and awareness of less known destinations and experiences offered by Aqaba city.
