The EDU-SYRIA/EDU-JORDAN programme announced that the door is now open to apply for 112 scholarships to study for “Teacher Education Professional Diploma” at the Queen Rania Teacher Academy, for Jordanians for the academic year 2021/2022.
The Diploma equips teachers for the current challenges in education, preparing educators to treat learning environments as more than mere space, but as the birthplaces of innovation, leadership, intellectual curiosity, and civic participation among youth.
The EDU-SYRIA/EDU-JORDAN programme is part of the EU-funded project to support higher education for Syrian refugees and vulnerable Jordanian youth, aiming to provide young students with opportunities to pursue higher education (bachelor and master’s degrees), vocational education, technical training, special entrepreneurial training, and labour market-oriented courses, as well as summer programmes for high school students.
The EDU-SYRIA/EDU-JORDAN scholarship project, led by the German Jordanian University in partnership with multiple institutes, has awarded over 1,800 scholarships so far, with the aim of providing 3,000 scholarships by the end of the project’s tenure.
