TunisiaEgypt and Jordan collaborate with MEDREG to advance Performance Monitoring
MEDREG members EgyptERA and EMRC held a one-day technical exchange online with the Turkish regulator EMRA to update their performance monitoring and evaluation system methodology for Distribution System Operators.
This technical assistance aimed at enhancing the understanding of existing challenges and opportunities by using the adequate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and improve the Egyptian and Jordanian regulators’ capabilities.
The intense day of knowledge sharing between regulatory peers provided our Egyptian and Jordanian members a comprehensive framework for updating their technical performance monitoring and evaluation system for DSOs, addressing key aspects related to methodology, data collection, analysis, reporting, integration of renewable energy, and the utilization of smart grid technologies.
