The EU Delegation in Algeria has congratulated Algeria on the destruction of its remaining stock of antipersonnel mines held by the army, in accordance with the obligations of the Convention on the Prohibition of the Use, Stockpiling, Production and Transfer of Anti-Personnel Mines and on their Destruction, known as the Ottawa Convention.
