The Hackathon Fin’Hack, organised by the startup Hackup and supported by EU-funded Innov’I – EU4Innovation, was held last month in Tunisia. 120 young developers took part in this event. For 24 hours, they had imagined and developed solutions in response to issues related to FinTech.

Four challenges were presented to the participants: the automation of the banking operations process, big data and artificial intelligence that serve banks and insurance companies, digitalized P2P transactions and a challenge about crowdfunding. The jury preselected 8 projects out of 22.

Five teams were rewarded at the end of this challenge. Innov’i – EU4Innovation awarded the “Innov’i” Prize to the most innovative idea.

Innov’i – EU4Innovation is a five-year programme that aims at strengthening the ecosystem of entrepreneurship and innovation in Tunisia. It is funded by the European Union and implemented by Expertise France.
