The EU delegation to Syria commemorated International Fact-Checking Day. During a 3-day workshop funded by the EU and organised by Verify Media Platform, Dan Stoenescu, Chargé d’affaires a.i. of the European Union to Syria, said:
“We recognise the importance of empowering the Syrian youth to develop critical mind-sets and analytical skills to address unreliable and misleading information from any source. Together, let us strive for a future where accurate information serves as the foundation for an informed and democratic society.”
