EU project to organise training for green entrepreneurs from Egypt and Israel

If you are a green or have a green business idea, you can now apply to take part in a training offered by the EU-funded Switch-Med project to help you launch or develop your business.
The goal of the Switch-Med Green Entrepreneurs Training Programme is to assist eco entrepreneurs in launching new business in a very practical way.
The training seeks to help entrepreneurs:
gain knowledge and learn how to use tools to turn innovative ideas into a green business model
turn environmental challenges into business opportunities
gain technical expertise in eco-design and the improvement of the environmental performance of businesses
design a business model that is economically-sound and creates environmental and social value.
develop a green business plan
The deadline for applying is 27 December 2015 in Egypt and 15 March 2016in Israel.
The SWITCH-MED sustainable consumption and production programme aims to promote a switch of the Mediterranean economies towards sustainable consumption and production patterns and green economy, including low emission development, through demonstration and dissemination of methods that improve resource and energy efficiency. It also seeks to minimise the environmental impacts associated to the life cycle of products and services, and, as opportune, to promote renewable energy.
