The EUPOL COPPS AHoM Karin Limdal met with the Chief of Police, Major General Yousif Al Helo in Ramallah. They discussed the main challenges under the current circumstances such as lack of funds to pay the salaries for the PCP and the severe restrictions to the freedom of movement.
They agreed on the importance to keep the focus on delivering security today and tomorrow despite the current crisis situation and to deepen the already planned cooperation in the months to come, including strategic advice on where the PCP could put particular focus in the current situation.
