The EU Delegation to Jordan and the EU Neighbours South project are organising a Virtual Campus Tour in Jordan on 29 November 2020 [from 9am to 1pm]. The event is held under the framework of the #EU4YOUth regional communication campaign running in seven countries of the Southern Neighbourhood region.
As the EU invests massively to empower Jordanian youth, the topics chosen for the event are:
The Campus Tour #EU4YOUth encapsulates three thematic panel discussions and inspiring success stories, a photo contest and various quizzes as well as local artistic performances. The digital event aims to increase awareness and understanding of the EU-funded cooperation projects empowering youth in different fields.
During the panels, experts from bilateral and regional EU-funded projects will present the ongoing opportunities that are available to the Jordanian youth. In parallel, success story videos of young beneficiaries will be streamed to showcase the positive impact of the EU-funded projects on young citizens’ lives and communities. Quizzes about the panels and a photo contest will also be launched to encourage the young audience to engage and #ShootandShare photos on social media with #EU4YOUth captions highlighting their thoughts about the event.
The European Union (EU) encourages open communication and dialogue to build a bridge between EU projects and youth. The EU is also committed to supporting young students’ career development through stronger enabling programmes that stimulate local economic prosperity and create factual employment opportunities for Jordanian citizens and communities.
