Lebanon has officially signed a financing agreement with the European Union under the Interreg NEXT MED Programme. This significant agreement, countersigned by Ms. Alessandra Todde, President of the Autonomous Programme’s Managing Authority—paves the way for public and private organizations in Lebanon to access EU funds within the framework of the Interreg NEXT MED Programme.
This agreement ensures that beneficiaries from Lebanon are now fully eligible to receive EU funds, joining other countries such as Egypt, Jordan, Palestine, Türkiye, and Tunisia, which have already finalized their financing agreements with the European Commission. Information on the remaining Financing Agreements will be published soon on this website.
