Lebanon border attack: EU committed to supporting Lebanon

Following the deadly attack in a Lebanese village close to the border with Syria yesterday, the EU reaffirmed its continuous support to “Lebanon’s state institutions in their efforts to maintain stability and to stand by Lebanon in its fight against terrorism.”
The attack left at least 6 people killed and 15 wounded. “At this time our thoughts and condolences go to the families of the victims”, said an EU statement. (EU Neighbourhood Info)
