On 24 September, the EU joined in the second Climate Diplomacy Week of 2019. Until 6 October, EU Delegations and embassies of several EU Member States around the world are holding various events to foster dialogue and cooperation on climate change, showcase success stories and inspire further action.

The events organised include conferences, citizens’ debates, exhibitions, film screenings and other outreach activities, bringing together a wide range of stakeholders and communities.

The theme for this year’s Climate Diplomacy Weeks is Youth.

In 2019, the Climate Diplomacy Week is taking place twice. The first week was held from 27 May to 9 June and the second is taking place between 24 September and 6 October.
